The Queyras ski area in the French Southern Alps is a family-oriented, authentic area with a network of eight smaller villages, ideal for beginners and families, unlike the large, crowded ski resorts. It offers tranquility, an authentic atmosphere, plenty of sunshine, and a focus on cross-country skiing and other non-ski activities in addition to the alpine slopes.
